Strategy Games

Checkers--pretty good graphics and in color---play against the computer program.

3D Mazes--use your keyboard to find the exit---not in color, but fun!!!

Hangman--the theme here is Presidents of the U.S.---can't lose at this one.

Magic Squares--this is similar to the "slide the tiles" games---try to arrange the numbers in order.

Crossword--not too difficult.

Lights on--try to turn all the lights on-not as easy as you think!

Tic Tac Toe--play against the program--you can win.

Hangman 2--you can only guess wrong a few times before you are hanged!!

Connect 4--Great Strategy Game. Can you get 4 in a row before the computer program?

Marbles--this is like the classic peg jump games, only I think it's much more difficult to succeed!

Numbers--another version of the sliding tiles, but you can change the view of the puzzle.

Word Search--excellent version--5 puzzles in one--each with a different theme--try to find the hidden words--great for young people!!

Ice Blocks--This is a great strategy game. You move along and push blocks of ice into burning flames and crush blocks of ice to retrieve gold coins. How many levels can you get through?

Rocks--Another terrific strategy game. Choose where to drop rocks to get them to pass through blocking gates. Try to make the rocks hit the bottom. Play against the computer. Not too easy to win!! Give it a try.

Towers of Hanoi--This is one of my favorite strategy games. You must relocate the tower of disks from the starting post to one of the 2 other posts. This is not easy!!! If you want a challenge, this should keep you busy!

JOthello -- A strategy game that you play against the program. Try to get a majority of the game board to end up with your color tiles. I've tried several times and can't seem to beat the program...can you?

Yahtzee -- A great version of the classic dice game. Have fun trying to get a high score. It's a great day to play yahtzee.

Minesweeper -- Most of you probably have this game on your computer already, but for those that do not, here's a fun strategy game. Try to figure out where the mines are without uncovering one.

Bridges -- This is a great strategy game. You must build a bridge from one side of the board to the other before the computer builds one from the top to the bottom. I've tried several times and haven't won...can you?

Action Games

Breakout--great version of the game--you can set the ball speed, ball size, paddle size, etc.

Torpedo--I really like this one--great fun sinking ships!!

Lunar Landing--land your vehicle on the moon--lots of skill required here!!--Great fun!!!

Drive--this one's a shockwave game. you get can hit something in the road 3 different times before the game ends. This is kind of addicting, because you know you can do better!!

UFO Attack--aliens are landing, how many can you shoot down before one finally lands to end the game. This game is a lot of fun. My record is 59!! Can you beat me?

Tailgunner--this is a lot of fun, but you must really be quick to get all of the ships. A real shoot-em-up.

Star Wars--try to shoot the stars with the laser beam before they crash into you.

Warp--maneuver and shoot, hours of fun, how many levels can you complete?

Asteroids--a fun spaceship game--can you avoid them and shoot them?

Tetris Blocks--you remember this one--try to line up the blocks as they fall.

Pacman--I'm sure you know this one. Can you finish the maze before you are eaten? ***PLEASE NOTE*** This is a great arcade game, but may take 1 or 2 minutes to load--But it's worth it!! Although the game board tells you to press "P" to start, do the following: Click on the word "enjoy" with your mouse, then press the letter "P". Have fun!!!

Duck shoot--a fun game--how many can you get?

Aliens--I think this is a pretty tough game. You try to click on the aliens as the run across the screen. This will tire your hand quickly.

Ancient Boy--This is a similar to breakout, only you break eggs, not blocks and you try to clear the bottom of the screen instead of the top. It's fun, check it out!

Invaders--Similar to the original space invaders video arcade game. Lots of fun.

Gopher Bash--Try to click on the gophers as they pop out of their holes in the ground. How many can you get before they ruin your yard?

Snake -- A fun game in which you try to keep the snake bumping into a small block. As you continue to collide with each new block, the snake keeps growing.

Shoot and Score -- Shock wave game. Pretty tough to make a lot of baskets, but fun. See how many shots you can make within the time limit.

Galaxy -- This is a good version of the old arcade game. Shoot the attackers in this space game. Lots of fun.

Sports Games

Hoops--see how many baskets you can make. Wait til you see the cute basketball player!!!

Animal Race--choose the one you think is going to win--not the greatest fun for the real gamester, but it's worth a look.

Soccer--This is a great shockwave game. The graphics are really good. See how many goals you can make! Multi level play.

Horse Race--Not really much of a game, but it's fun to see if you can pick the winner. Play against your friends to see who picks the most win (1st), place (2nd), or show (3rd) finishers.

Longball -- This is a great baseball game. You get to choose the speed and type of pitch. How many runs can you get?

Misc. Fun Games

Response Time--This is a really not a game, but I think you'll have fun trying to see how fast your reflexes are. See how quickly you react when the background screen changes color.

Mindreader--another fascinating trick to amaze you.

Oracle--follow directions and get a message from the amazing oracle.

Blackjack--play against the dealer--see how much money you can win!!!

Bio-rhythm--This isn't really a game, but it is interesting!

Coloring Book--There's a horse, zebra, balloons and other things to color in the book.

Arithmetic 24 -- This is a great math game in which you must use the basic math operating functions to form an equation that equals 24. Lots of fun. Check it out!

Hypergames -- This is just 1 game box, but you can choose to play any of 30 different games. Hours of fun without leaving the page!!!

Checkboxes -- This is a fun speed test. How quickly can you use your mouse to put checks in the game grid? Bet you can't get them all!
