Strategy Games

• Checkers--pretty good graphics and in color---play against the computer program.

• 3D Mazes--use your keyboard to find the exit---not in color, but fun!!!

• Magic Squares--this is similar to the "slide the tiles" games---try to arrange the numbers in order.

• Lights on--try to turn all the lights on-not as easy as you think!

• Tic Tac Toe--play against the program--you can win.

• Connect 4--Great Strategy Game. Can you get 4 in a row before the computer program?

• Marbles--this is like the classic peg jump games, only I think it's much more difficult to succeed!

• Numbers--another version of the sliding tiles, but you can change the view of the puzzle.

• Ice Blocks--This is a great strategy game. You move along and push blocks of ice into burning flames and crush blocks of ice to retrieve gold coins. How many levels can you get through?

• Rocks--Another terrific strategy game. Choose where to drop rocks to get them to pass through blocking gates. Try to make the rocks hit the bottom. Play against the computer. Not too easy to win!! Give it a try.

• Towers of Hanoi -- This is one of my favorite strategy games. You must relocate the tower of disks from the starting post to one of the 2 other posts. This is not easy!!! If you want a challenge, this should keep you busy!

• JOthello -- A strategy game that you play against the program. Try to get a majority of the game board to end up with your color tiles. I've tried several times and can't seem to beat the program...can you?

• Yahtzee -- A great version of the classic dice game. Have fun trying to get a high score. It's a great day to play yahtzee.

• Minesweeper -- Most of you probably have this game on your computer already, but for those that do not, here's a fun strategy game. Try to figure out where the mines are without uncovering one.

• Bridges -- This is a great strategy game. You must build a bridge from one side of the board to the other before the computer builds one from the top to the bottom. I've tried several times and haven't won...can you?

• Hares and Hounds -- A strategy game that will probably take you a few tries to figure out how to win, even on the beginners level.

• Fleet -- This is battleships game. A very good version. Fun!

• Matches -- This is a strategy game that you can figure out after a few minutes of analysis. After you determine how to win, maybe you can try it out on your friends.

• Hypergames -- This is just 1 game box, but you can choose to play any of  30 different games. Hours of fun without leaving the page!!!

• Simon -- Slightly different than the home version, but still great fun trying to follow the pattern set  by the computer.  How long a series can you complete?

• Dots -- draw lines to make square boxes on the game board, make more than the computer and you win.

• Concentration -- you know this one--try to get the pictures to match in the least amount or tries--this can be a multi-player game or one player game.

• Eliminator --  How many levels can you complete in this great strategy game.   A real challenge to complete!!

• Hop Over -- A fun strategy game.   A real challenge to complete!!

• Gomoku -- A great strategy game.   Tough going to beat the program!!

• Mastermind -- A combination of logic skills and luck.  You have 8 tries to guess the hidden color code.

• IQGame -- The best version of the classic peg jump game I've seen.  Test your strategy skills...can you leave just one?

• Detective -- Can you find the killer by your powers of observation before he/she strikes again?

• Kalah -- This is a great strategy game.  You must really be good to beat the computer program. 

• SIJI -- great strategy game with many levels to keep you busy.

• Fiver -- Choose the size of your playing board and try to change the color of all the discs.

• Shooter -- Try to remove the colored balls by shooting a ball at each row.  Not easy to complete some of the levels.  I only made it to level 4!!

• Crate Man -- a pure logic strategy puzzle solving game. Help Curtis the Crate Man reach the red crates in each puzzle room. Using ingenuity and problem solving skills, can you help Curtis recover all 10 crates?

• Boulderdash -- This game involves strategy and quick movement!!  You must move your character around the game board collecting the diamonds and avoiding getting crushed by boulders or being caught by other characters.....sounds easy?

• Dog Bone -- Dog Bone is a game in which you try to help Rover find his missing buried bones in his back yard.

• Queens and Knights -- The object of the game is to place the 4 Queens and 4 Knights in positions that do not threaten each other. If that bores you then you can just try placing 8 Queens on the board without them threatening each other (8 Queens Problem).  

• Peg Board Game 

• Rush Hour -- A great strategy game.  Try to move the blocking cars and buses around the parking lot and free the car.

• Spacemaze -- A fun action / strategy game.  Try to collect the diamonds and escape from each maze.

• Moonbase -- Another action / strategy game.  Try to collect the different colored tokens and avoid being killed by aliens.

• Same Game -- Try to group the colored balls to get the highest score.  Simple strategy and observation skills needed here.

• Sleeper -- Try to get all of the eyes closed and everyone asleep at the same time.

• Sokoban -- This is a great strategy game.  How many levels can you complete?

• Auto Wars  --  very tough strategy game.  You try to gain control of the playing board by dominating it with your color.  Check this one out!!!

• Score a Million  --  a trivia strategy game that will test your general knowledge as you answer a series of increasingly difficult questions over five levels of play in your quest to complete all levels of the game and Score A Million.

• Allout  -- The best of the lights out games. Many levels of play.  Check it out!!

• Blobs  -- similar to the peg jump game but with sound effects.  Keep jumping blobs until only one remains.

• Final Pick  -- Play against the computer program.  Be the one to pick up the last marble!!

• Pegean  -- This is one of my favorites.  How many levels can you complete?

• Nibbly  -- Can you even complete level 1?

• Trouble Underground  -- This is a great strategy game.  Move the stones and rocks and help the mole and the worm get to the exit.

• Panne Rotto  -- This is a pretty tough strategy game.

• Birdbrain  -- This is a fun strategy game.  You move one bird and must avoid the others.

• Raku -- turn the tiles back to blue in as few moves as possible. There is a unique game every time you play.

• Timestar -- This is a strategy game, but it's got me baffled as to exactly what the object is.  I don't have a lot of time to check it out; so please email me if you figure out what and how to succeed at this game..

• Robix -- a game of  logic, try to push rows of blocks right or left in order to get 10 of your green marbles to the bottom before the computer can.

• Weighing Coins -- Try to figure out which coin is fake.

• Hexxagon --  Good strategy game....give it a try!

• Aqua -- Good strategy game, how many levels can you complete?

• Triplets -- This one is a good strategy puzzle!

• Flip it -- Can you change the board to all white?

• Go Bee -- I find this to be very challenging, I only made it to level 3 so far.

• Frendz -- a thinking game!!

• English-- See how many moves it takes you to exchange the pegs in this game!

• Super Sleuth -- A crime has been committed and you must find out who did it. Study the suspects and figure out the crime!!

• Twins -- Match the colors as quickly as possible and get the highest score!!

• Switch It - This is a good thinking game.  You must turn out the lights to complete each level.  

• Arithmetiles -- How quickly can you find the solutions!!

• Pengapop -- a crazy game where you control Frank, the leader of a Platoon of Penguin Pengapoppers in their quest for tasty treasures.

• Shove It -- A great strategy game.  Not only must you think strategy, but you're on a time limit!

• Detonator -- Move and detonate bombs without falling off the grid or blowing yourself up!

• Turtlebridge -- How many packs can you get across?  Watch out for feeding time!

• Jungle Fruit - This is fun and a good strategy game that also requires some luck.

• Graph - Play with a friend or against the computer.  You try to complete a link from one end of the graph to the other; your opponent tries to stop you.

• Writers Block - Similar to the Boggle game, you must find enough words each round to move on.

• Chicken - Try to get the chicken to cross the busy road.  To get to the other side?

• Monster Hatch - These little puzzles are tough!

• Juxto - Tough strategy game!

• Stickman Jones - This is fun, help Stickman Jones complete each course.

• Railway Escape - Free yourself from the cage before the train mows you down.

• Defuse the Bomb - You have 20 minutes to defuse the bomb.

• Frog Leap - move the three frogs on the left to the right.

• Escape from the Room - you have 2 hours to defuse the bombs and escape.

• Ball Puzzle - Strategy game to get you thinking.

• Sudoku - Have fun with the numbers game craze.

• Gasparilla - Use the clues to find the treasure squares.

• Easy Room Escape - An easy escape from the room puzzle.

• 3D Maze - Try to solve these difficult mazes.

• Quick Rotation - See if you can arrange the numbers in order...this is a challenge.

• Dyna Miner - Can you explode the blocks and reach the exit?

• Dungeon Ball - Avoid the ball.

• Pluto - Visit the planet and defuse the bomb.

• Evan Almighty Animal Sudoku - Just like number Sudoku, but with animal prints.

• Boom Kaboom Kablam - Get through these tough mazes, but watch out for bombs.

• Contraption - Design you own contraptions to get the ball into the buckets.

• Mind Color - Use strategy to decipher the color scheme.

• Cyber Mice - Guide the mice to the cheese.

• Evan Almighty Arketris - Tetris like game using wooden pieces like the ark.

• Spin the Black Circle - This is a lot of fun and challenging!!

• Conundrum - Use strategy to raise all the blocks at the same time.
